RYA Practical Course
Milebuilder
Milebuilders are trips for those working toward Yachtmaster Coastal or Offshore who need to log sea miles, night hours and qualifying passages, gaining real passage-making experience under the guidance of an RYA-qualified skipper. This isn’t a structured syllabus course – it’s genuine sea time, with every mile logged and signed off in your RYA logbook.
Who Is This Course For?
Ideal for those who already hold Day Skipper or equivalent and are building toward Coastal Skipper or Yachtmaster Offshore, needing to accumulate qualifying miles, night hours and tidal experience before sitting their exam. Also a good option for anyone who simply wants more time at sea without the pressure of a formal assessment.
